Karl Lagerfeld....Try the Doritos.

As many of you know there has been a great deal of debate in the media recently about models and their size. Several magazines have decided not to use super thin models and have decided to use more "normal sized women". "Plus size" has also become a controversial term and there is a wide variance regarding what this term really means. Proponents of the "plus sized" movement are vehemently debating whether a size 12 constitutes a "plus size". Either way, there is definitely a curvy revolution taking place. Finally!!

Even although we are starting to see more voluptuous, beautiful, healthy, women in fashion ads and magazines, some people do not agree that this is a good idea. Iconic German fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld known for Chanel and Fendi, made it clear that he doesn't believe that curvy woman have a place on the catwalk.

"No one wants to see curvy women," Lagerfeld was quoted as saying on the website of news magazine Focus.

"You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly," he added.

Lagerfeld states that fashion is about "dreams and illusions" and refers to the move by the magazine and the debate that resulted as "absurd".

Well my friend, I think you just might be absurd. Beauty comes in various shapes and sizes and if you can't see that perhaps you don't have the vision necessary for success in a changing industry. People will no longer tolerate the discrimination inherent in popular culture and media towards people as a result of their body types.

Goodbye Karl. Perhaps now that you will likely be less busy, you can learn to enjoy a good bag of Doritos. This can be done while you sit in front of the television watching a barrage of curvy models, who will undoubtedly be taking over the runway sans your ridiculous designs. From this "fat mother's" perspective Sweet Chili Heat is the best.
